Terror suspects from Bangalore and Hubli arrested

About 11 terror suspects were arrested from Bangalore and Hubli last Wednesday. Most of them were educated and employed. One was employed in DRDO, a government organization and the other one was employed in a reputed news paper for about 3 years. Another terrors suspect was a doctor by profession.

The Central Crime Branch of Bangalore was working on the information regarding the terror modules for a couple of months now and finally cracked on the suspects averting some major incident.

It is believed that the handlers of these terror suspects are from Saudi Arabia and had planned to assassinate the Member of Parliament and some high profile journalists and media persons.

The more shocking news is that one of the terror suspects arrested in Hubli was living very close by to the Chief Ministers house. Two suspects were arrested from Sonia Gandhi Nagar in Hubli, natives of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. They allegedly have links with the LeT and had come to Hubli with the aim of spreading jihad in the region.

Latest report is that the suspects were about to execute one of their targets, a columnist of Kannada daily. Police stated that they may arrest more suspects from Mangalore, Shimoga and AP.
